Monday, June 8, JOBS AND MORE STL will have its first two-week participant training workshop in Ferguson. Orientation for the session will be held Wednesday June 3.  The next training workshop will start July13, with orientation on Wednesday July 8.   JOBS AND MORE STL, founded by Executive Director Adrian Shropshire, models their Ferguson program after the successful RISE ABOVE program.  JOBS AND MORE STL serves the community and has a work force training program, developing people through life changing training, support and mentoring to help obtain and retain employment.  In less than 6 months, Adrian Shropshire has taken JOBS AND MORE STL from a vision to a significant beginning.

JOBS AND MORE STL Has First Participant Training in Ferguson

Saturday April 19, JOBS AND MORE STL opened in Ferguson with its first Facilitator Training.  JOBS AND MORE STL, founded by Executive Director Adrian Shropshire, will model their Ferguson program after the successful RISE ABOVE program.  JOBS AND MORE STL serves the community and has a work force training program, developing people through life changing training, support and mentoring to help obtain and retain employment. 

Facilitator Training opened with prayer and greetings from Executive Director Adrian Shropshire, Pastor Don Wilson, and Pastor Daryl Meese, North Hills UMC Church.  Professional trainers from JOBS AND MORE, Springfield, Ohio led training session.  Mrs. Jessie L. Shropshire, Myra Blake, Thomas Blake, and Diana Shropshire, presented materials.  Ferguson Mayor James Knowles and Council Member Ella Jones expressed confidence in the future of Ferguson and JOBS AND MORE STL. Advisor Newell S. “Jim” Knight, Jr, encouraged the new facilitators in their roles. In less than 6 months, Adrian Shropshire has taken JOBS AND MORE STL from a vision to a significant beginning.  Charitable contributions welcome.

Will Host Special, One-Day Resume Writing Workshop Dec 12, 2015
JOBS AND MORE STL is continuing their mission to help the unemployed and underemployed find employment.  JOBS AND MORE STL is a Ferguson-based 501(c)3 non-profit,  providing training and motivation in the job search process. JOBS AND MORE STL’s goal is to arm workshop achievers with the skills and drive necessary to find employment that aligns with their individual strengths and interests. 

Do you need a resume or does your resume need an update?   JOBS AND MORE STL is hosting a special, FREE, one-day seminar on resume writing.   Our local subject matter experts will work with you so that you can present your best self.

Additionally, JOBS AND MORE STL is continuing to host FREE, monthly, Rise Above Workforce Training workshops.  In October, three individuals became the latest graduates of the Rise Above workshop.  Congratulations to graduates James Farley, Sara Rickert, and Alicia Siddiqui.  Two graduates obtained job offers within weeks of completing the workshop.  JOBS AND MORE STL wishes all of our graduates continued success in their future endeavors.
